During May, the year 7s and year 8s went on their 3-day residential trip where they took part in various activities including fire lighting, 3G swings, archery, axe throwing and campfire cooking.
The children showed great teamwork supporting each other as they overcome physical challenges.
Year 8
Enjoyed exploring the scout site of Youlbury, in rural Oxfordshire which is set in 42 acres of beautiful woodland. They were able to take part in high adventure activities and traditional outdoor skills.
Year 7
Spent their residential trip at the scout site of Broadstone Warren situated in the Ashdown Forest in North of Sussex. They were able to take part in a number of activities on a site designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
