Termly Support Plans

We set a new plan for each child every term and invite parents/carers to a termly meeting where we discuss the themes and plans within it and ask for  contributions from home. This is also an opportunity to talk about the vocabulary we’ll be using in lessons that can be reinforced at home. Parents/carers will also be invited to regular events to meet others socially, for support and to participate in learning opportunities. The foundation stage manager and other staff are available for informal chats or appointments can be made for a more in-depth discussion.

From early years to reception

When the children are nursery age, school starts between 9.00 and 9.15 and ends at 12.15. Children are legally required to attend school full time from the term after they turn five, and the full time reception class is usually available to join from the January of that year, depending on the cohort.
